We may collect and process the following data from you: –

  • Information you consent to provide to Silvertime Legal that is required to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered between you and us, or potential contracts that may be in liaison between you and us.

  • Where applicable, we may disclose your personal information to any member of our group. This includes (where applicable), our subsidiaries, our holding company and its other subsidiaries (if any).
  • In order to deliver our services to you effectively, we may send your details to third parties such as those that we engage for professional compliance, accountancy or legal services.
  • Where it is necessary to send your personal data to third parties to comply with the contract we confirm that these third parties will have confirmed their compliance with the GDPR.

  • To fulfill our obligations in respect of prevention of money-laundering and other financial crime we may send your details to third party agencies for identity verification purposes.
  • We take appropriate measures to ensure that any information collected from you is kept secure. Silvertime Legal operate a Retention Policy to ensure personal data is kept only for so long as is necessary for the purpose for which such information is used.

We normally update your personal data within seven working days of any new or updated personal data being provided to us, to ensure that the personal data we hold about you is as accurate and up to date as possible.

Your Rights:

  • GDPR gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised at any time. Silvertime Legal operate both a Data Subjects Rights procedure and a Subject Access Rights Procedure to ensure that all rights exercised by data subjects relating to personal data are managed appropriately.
  • You have the right to be informed about our collection and use of your personal data. This privacy policy fulfills our obligation to inform you of the ways in which we use your information.
  • The right of access to the personal data we hold about you. You have the right to ask us for a copy of any personal data that we hold about you. This is known as a “Subject Access Request”. Except in exceptional circumstances (which we would discuss and agree with you first), you can obtain this information from us at no cost. We will then send you a copy of the information within 30 days of your request.
  • The right to rectification if any personal data We hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • The right to ask Us to delete any personal data We hold about you. Where it is appropriate that we comply, your request will then be fully actioned within 30 days. 
  • The right to restrict the processing of your personal data. If you wish for us to restrict the use of your data because (i) you believe it is inaccurate but this will take time to validate, (ii) you believe our data processing is unlawful but you do not want your data erased, (iii) you want us to retain your data in order to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, or (iv) you wish to object to the processing of your data, but we have yet to determine whether it is appropriate.
  • The right to obtain a copy of your personal data in order to re-use with another service or organisation and/or if you would like to move, copy or transfer the electronic personal data that we hold about you to another organisation.
  • The right to object to Us using your personal data for particular purposes.

Data that is provided to us is stored on our secure servers. Details relating to any transactions entered into on our site will be encrypted to ensure its safety.
